Hi All,

I've a windows 2000 server VPC which is running on Windows 2000 server
host machine. if i tried to ping from VPC to host machine, i'm getting
reply. But when i'm trying from host machine to VPC, its says "Unknown
host". What may be the problem. ?

i have thesame problem. can anyone help me????

im running v pc on winxp. in my vpc, i can ping my dns server (nslookup in host xp), and i can ping my gateway, i can also ping yahoo's ip address, but when i ping 'yahoo.com', i get 'unknown host yahoo.com' and web pages dont open.

i've done everything from dhcp, to putting static ips : 192.168.131.xxx; 192.168.131.254; 192.168.131.252. nothing works.

how do i get this DNS to work?
