Web Server in Virtual PC

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

Message:

I'm trying to configure a web server under Virtual PC where the default
web site directory exists on the host PC.

I have configured VPC 2004 and Windows XP Pro as both the host and
guest OS and everything seems to be working. Networking appears to be
OK as I can ping the host from the guest and vice. I have configured a
Shared Folder in the VM console settings such that the drive "E" on the
guest uses the host's drive "e:\inetpub".

However, when I start the guest IIS manager and try to configure the
home directory I can select "E:\inetpub" but the "OK" button is grayed
out. The contents of ghe drive and directory are visble from the guest
PC Explorer. Is it not possible to use a host PC directory as a web
server directory?
