Message:Hi Steve,
Rebooting of host does not resolve my issue with copying of 985mb files from
guest running Windows XP Pro to host running Vista Business. Any idea?

I assume that you mean that if you connect a network share as a drive
letter and then copy the file that way it works?
If you get errors when using the vPC2007 "shared folder" system it may
well be because of a known problem with this:
1) If the folder on the host that is shared contains a lot of
files/subfolders/files etc in a deep tree, then the VPC2007 shared
folders does not work. It is only working reliably if the shared
folder is a single folder with only a few files and no subfolders.
2) If the file to copy is very large there are also problems using the
VPC2007 shared folder feature.
Basically, whenever possible use the sharing and communication system
provided by the *operating system* on the guest and host to copy files
back and forth.

Hello to all.
I had the same problem. With a restart of the host the problem was resolved.
My host and virtual machine are WinXP SP2.
