Can"t resize and slow WinVista?

Source: microsoft.public.virtualpc

Message:

I have the Additions for VPC 2004 installed but cannot resize from a
fairly small fixed window. If I choose full screen, I get the same
size window centered on the computer screen and the rest of the host
screen is black. All of the display options in VPC are grayed out.
Any suggestions?

Also, I have installed Windows Vista Beta 2 Build 5308 in VPC. Vista
is very slow. I gave VPC 522MB RAM. It's C drive is 15.9GB with
10.3GB free. The host machine has 16.7GB free space, 1.5GB physical
RAM, 3.2Ghz P4. Any suggestions why Vista is so slow?

I'm not using a paging file on the host, which greatly helps host's
performance since the HD is only 4600RPM. Does that effect VPC?

Thanks,
Brett
