Message:I do not know about Tiger - but Darwin 8 (which Tiger is based upon)
requires an APIC which we do not emulate.

It is a violation of Apple's intellectual property rights to attempt to
run OS X off Apple's hardware. For the OS X-x86 version it checks for a
Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to enforce Apple's terms. The name of the
driver that checks is "Dont Steal Mac OS X.kext"
BTW, OS X isn't fussy about the hardware it runs on, it runs fine on all
supported Apple hardware and with XPostFacto it even runs on the rest of
the PPC line.

I'm always surprised at "professionals" who STILL have to be asked "Have you
checked (event viewer / syslog)".
