Hello,
Today I have loaded two images -XP ProSP2 and Win2003 Server. Both images
are in their own workgroup but the NIC is using the NIC of the Host machine.
The Host machine is hooked up on my internal network. If I install Exch 2003
and promote the virtual server to a Domain Controller it's not going to cause
any problems with my live internal domain is it? Of course the virtual domain
will MSFT or something other than the live domain name. I wasn't sure if I
should totally separate this virtual network from my work network or not.

As long as you do not enable a DHCP server on it - you should be fine.

It will be visible to other computers on your network though - and if
you don't want / need this and you want to be extra safe - just
configure the virtual machines to use the "local only" network.
