I will need to share my Virtual PC Images with other individuals. They are
getting too big for our FTP solution, but I would like to burn them on dual
layer DVD's. To do this, I think I will need to keep the file sizes below
4GB. In Virtual Machine you are able to have the program create files sizes
up to 2GB and then create another file, so that you would never have files
bigger than 2GB. Is there something similar in Virtual PC?

sorry, I don't get what you trying do,. If all you want is distribute by DL
DVD, you can have up to almost 7.5 GB if not 8GB . Single layer is about
4500MB..

Caveat: licence required for Microsoft OS on VM. So be careful there. If you
are talking about free non MS OS like some free Linux, it is probably OK.

Compress all your image files with winrar. Some cases it will be reduced by
50%.

Also ftp has a limit of 2GB. make with winrar multiple files of you VPC
image if it would still exceeds the 2GB
