With the advent of WinFX it seems that having a better graphics card
won't only apply to gamers and artists anymore.

Virtual PC really lags when it comes to rendering graphics, (even though it
is not meant for rendering graphics), but it is super slow just rendering the
plain interface of Windows 2003.

I would like to know if there is any plans to make graphics acceleration
available from within a VPC, or, is there a way to improve graphic
performance already?

Secondly, is there anyway to disable the annoying beep that the VPC makes!
Even after disabling the sound it still beeps. This is very annoying!

It shouldn't on a decent machine. Have you installed the VM Additions?

1. Click View-->Show Hidden Devices
2. Under Non-Plug and Play Devices, right-click and disable Beep.

That will prevet the beep from reoccuring.

Not that I'm aware of.

Net Stop command is used to stop a service. You type it in at a command
prompt. The parameter is the service name (in this case "beep"). So, open a
command prompt, and type:

net stop beep

Type net /? for more information on tasks you can perform with the net.exe
command.
