It seems to me that virtual computing is something seemingly more
efficient than the Windows XP Home Edition operating system . I've owned my
first computer for 2 years . I'm wondering if all the applications I run in
the Windows XP Home Edition installation I use could run as virtual
applications including games and online games , if I used the Microsoft
Virtual PC .

VirtualPC is not an operating system. It is an application program which
enables you to set up a virtual machine and a virtual disk. This virtual
machine also needs to have an operating system installed in it before you
can use it.

The "host" machine must have an Windows OS running on it before you can
install VPC, and the "guest" (or virtual) machine must also have an
operating system installed on it.
