anything to make the IO any faster?

The host is capable of sustained around 900 MB /minute when doing ghost
image from IDE to the SATA RAID 5 disks (strip width of 2, Raid set of 3
drives). but the ghost image restore running inside an XP Pro is doing only
about 80 to 90 MB /minute on VHD that resides on the SATA RAID
