keyboard problem

Hi all,
When we connect a video projector while Virtal PC is starting, we lose the
keyboard inside the guest OS.
The only one solution is to shutdown guest OS and logoff or reboot host OS.
Laptop : DELL Latitude D610
Host OS : XP SP2
Guest OS : W2003 SP1
Virtual PC : 2004 SP1.
VM Addition : 13.552

Does anyone have a solution to that problem?
