I am attempring to run SSH (e.g., Secure-Tunnel.com) from within Vistual PC to a newsprovider (e.g., Newsfeeds.com).
Secure-tunnel and newsfeeds work fine on the host.

Guest Network is setup as NAT.
Network work fine and news nnps protocol works fine without SSH.
Guest SSH client successfully establishes connection to remote server.
To access SSH client, news reader sends nntp news protocol message to 127.0.0.10
I get error message 10065 "unable to find path to host"

NETSTAT -a and netstat -b --> look the same on host and guest.

Help! I have run out of ideas. Any suggestions

I did a subsequent test using Windows 2000 as the guest and the
identically configured SSH client works.
The host is Windows XP Tablet 2005 version for all guest
configurations. These are all new builds.
--> The only installs are the SSH client and the newsreader plus all
OS patches.
I still cannot get Windows XP SP2 or XP 2005 Tablet guests to work.
Both have all security features disabled.
Both XP guest versions run the browser or newsreader fine without SSH.
Both XP guest versions fail when SSH proxie through 127.0.0.10:119 is
on.
I get error message 10065 "unable to find path to host"

It appears that XP is blocking the IP and/or port, even though the
firewall is off.
Any suggestions?
