Highlighting Text Using the Shify Key

Hi,

I'm running Windows Server 2003 through MS Virtual PC 2004 with all the
latest SPs. This is all running on a Windows XP Pro SP1 base system.

When I'm writing text into any form of text editor in this environment I
cannot highlight any text by holding the shift key and using the arrow keys
to select the text.

Does anyone know a fix for this? It's driving me insane!

I seem to remember this being reported before - but I can't reproduce it
on my system. Do you have VPC SP1 installed? Do you see this problem
on any other guest operating systems?
