VPC7 For Macintosh Can"t get on Internet anymore

Message:

I have Panther on a powerbook G4, and VPC7 with XP Professional installed.
It worked fine through the airport for internet access for several months,
but I guess one of the Apple updates, or Windows updates did it in. Now I
get a network connection, but can't get to the internet from the VPC. The
Mac says that there is another firewall (when you check the sharing, firewall
tab in System Preferences) whenever the VPC is running. There isn't. I even
unistalled PCCillin, and turned off the windows firewall. Anyone else
suddenly lost internet connectivity with VPC7?

(Obvious questions: Mac has access. Repaired disk and file permissions.
Current update on Mac OS (Panther, not Tiger))

The only knowledge base article on this is the one that says not to use
firewalls. Otherwise, they want $35 to answer an email or phone call.

Victims, aren""t we all?
