Hi all,
I have two questions:

1.
Can I install Win98 or Linux (guest operating system) if image-file is keep
inside a
partition NTSF (thus host operating system is winXP) ?

2.
Can I open virtual machines, run program, manage file inside guest operating
system,...
through programming scripts in c# ?? Can I do this perhaps with Virtual
Server 2005 ?

The answer to #1 is yes, because the image file creates a file that becomes
a "virtual hard disk" that can be formatted like any other disk, without
affecting your host

#2 requires Virtual Server, however you still won't be able to run
applications in the guest through scripting for security reasons

Hi,

Virtual Server allows you to program things like start-up/shutdown,
attaching drives, etc, to virtual machines, but you can't run program inside
the virtual machines by programming something on the host. There is no way
around this

No, because Mac OS needs a certain processor, and Virtual PC uses your host
computer's processor as the "virtual" processor (and your host computer's
processor can't run Mac OS, or it can't run Windows natively)

Virtual PC for the Mac doesn't use your host processor, it emulates a
Windows-compatible processor, and that's why VPC for Mac can't run Mac OS

But I don" speak of options and schedule available in VPC o VS,
instead I make a software (I use C#) that exploit Library of MSDN,
as an example:

It is possibile with VPC ??

That is only possible with Virtual Server. Virtual PC has no scripting
interface, COM object, or any other way you would be able to program it
