WXGA 1280x800 and S3 86c764/765 Linux driver

Hi all,

I struggled for a while to convince the S3 driver to use my laptop full
screen WXGA (1280x800) resolution, not even being able to go beyond the
VESA standard resolutions (all 4:3).

Then I found that is possible to provice a combination of parameters for the
modeline entry in xorg.conf that will actually do the trick.

I used this very useful XFree86 calculator to find the parameters. I had to
set a very low refresh rate (50hz) for the monitor to not exceed the
maximum dot-clock allowed, but on a simulated VirtualPC device is not really
an issue.

My modeline (for 1280x800 on Suse 9.2) is:
Modeline "1280x800" 60.50 1280 1296 1360 1472 800 802 804 822
