Two issues...

One, I can not get Virtual PC 2004 to install on a computer
with an AMD K-6 550. It gives me an error that it will only
install on a computer with a Pentium 400 processor or better.

Second, I have gotten it installed on my T40p Thinkpad using
Windows XP SP1 as the host OS (I can't upgrade to SP2 because
of corporate OS platform policies where I work). I've been
having a terrible problem of it randomly stuttering the
guest OS. If I pull up the properties window while I have a
guest OS running (it doesn't matter the OS, I've tried Win98SE,
Win2003EntSrv, WinXPProSP2, and Warp 4 FP14)... and can watch
it flip from 50+ frames per second to 0 or even negative numbers.
When the frame rate is at 0 or less, the whole guest OS is locked
up and accepts no input. Then sometimes it takes a single input
of a key click or mouse click and repeates it several times.

Any ideas? My system has 1 GB of RAM and the Guest OSs run
anywhere from 128-256MB dedicated. I'm running VirtualPC 2004
with SP1, and I've updated the virtual machines drivers as well
on all of the guest platforms.

The guest OS can have nothing running but base services and
this still happens, but it *sometimes* get's worse after I open
any brand of web browser.
