Virtual PC rollback - what saved state is meant to do???

Hi,

just wondering if anyone has worked out a way to take a snapshot of a
virtual pc without copying the vhd file. One would assume this is what the
saved state is designed to do. IE i want to be able to install a patch then
rollback and install the patch again.
