FTP fails on NAT mode

We have a customized os2 image on VPC running on Windows. FTP fails when it
is set to NAT mode and works fine when setting is NIC card. High Speed at
home connection also similar problem. Does corporate secuity has to do any
thing with this problem ?

I don't know what sort of FTP client you're using, but the actual command to
enable passive mode may differ or in some cases be unavailable. In Windows's
built-in FTP, I think it's unavailable. In Linux, just issue the command
"passive" to toggle between passive and active modes. You might try that
command in other console-based FTP clients too. Pretty much all FTP servers
should be compatible, though.
