Printers other than LPT1: for DOS6.22

Another question: Is there a method for connecting (and using) printers
other than one connected to LPT1? I would like to use my network printer
which is attached to another computer. I don't remember if there was any
type of networking for DOS6.22 or not. The settings just give me "none" and
"LPT1" but I seem to remember something about a network printer connected
from within AUTOEXEC or CONFIG.

Gotcha. I can understand that. DOS wasn't really meant to connect to the
outside world except through a couple of external devices. I have a customer
who is horribly attached to a DOS program written in GWBASIC that he just
does not want to get rid of. I try every day to make him change his mind.
