hi,

I have installed vpc with XP under win2003. The hardware is a P4P800 asus
MB that include 3com 3C940 (1000)

in the xp configuration, VPN found intel 21140 PCI fast ethernet (100)

how do I configure vpc to recognize the correct 3com network card so I can
use 1000 speed ?

also, the keyboard has a french layout. the \ is not recognized.
under XP control panel, the keyboard is defined as french kb with english
settings.

That is the proper card for it to detect -- VC emulates that card and that's
the driver you need to use.

Even though the emulated card is the 21140, it runs at the full speed of the
hosts NIC.
