I'm trying to install Windows 2000 Professional on to my VPC, while the setup
is "Installing Devices - Setup is detecting and installing devices on your
computer" the setup seems to be active but doesn't seem to finish that part
of setup!(almost 99% done) I've been waiting for a long long time for the
setup to complete but nothing is happning! can anyone help me on this?

First of all, Is there any activity on the screen. If so then it could be
just a matter of a failed installation. And the best method is to try it
agian.

Second, If there is no activity on the screen then the installation has
hung, commonly caused by a failed call procedure, and you may have a hardware
compatability error, or driver error.

On both cases, if this is the first time you have tried to install windows,
then you may want to retry, some issues can be resolved this way.

If there is an error message that appears on the screen, then type it into
the microsoft search engine and this should provide you with some percise
details.

It is unlikely that virtual Pc is causing the problems as this is a common
problem with the installation of windows, and therefore it is more likely
that there is a compatability issue with a piece of hardware on your computer
