Using the domain on a VPC guest server OS

Maybe I haven't dug through the FAQs and documentation enough yet, but I am
having a hard time getting my head around what is probably an easy question:

My guest OS is Windows 2000 server. My host OS is XP Pro. I'd like to join
the domain on my 2000 (guest) server, then log in. Joining the domain works
OK, but how can I log in? The guest OS has to be running to accept my
login, yet I can't start it until I've logged in, right? Seems pretty
elementary - maybe I can't use the host os as a client to the guest? Easy
enough to create another guest running XP Pro, but am wondering if the
wonders of VPC have accounted for that in some obscure way...

I've not seen a lot in the way of documentation for VPC - has anyone seen
anything decent at the Microsoft site?

I am pleased with VPC's performance, and found it better than VMWare, so
far.

Thanks

Rob Pelletier
