VPC Keeps Mimimizing

I haven't found this mentioned, so I thought I'd ask: I just installed VPC
2003 and Mandrake as my first guest OS. The only problem is, when I run full
screen the window loses focus every ~10 seconds and returns me to my desktop.
I see no signs of any other program stealing focus and shut down just about
everything that was running. I'm not sure if this is limited strictly to
Mandrake as I have yet to try anything else. Has anyone else had similar
problems? I'm running in Text-Only mode right now, no x. If I run
windowed, it works fine (although x won't run unless it's full screen.)

Thanks for the help. Actually it seems to have fixed itself after a restart.
Perhaps I had started a program that didn't completely exit and was stealing
focus.
