Scenario: I am setting up VPC (or if I have to I could
use Virtual Server) on a Win XP machine(host) and having
1 Win XP Pro VPC guest.

What I would like to do is have the host not have an
internet connection but allow the guest to have the
connection (I think this is not hard) but what I would
also like is for the VPC guest to load when IE is clicked
on the host machine.

In my scenario the end users and not technical and would
not be comfortable with running the VPC console so I am
looking to automate this. Could I run the VPC guest OS
sliently so it loads right after the host OS loads?

Anyone have experience with this?

If your end users will not be using the VPC console then you're better
off running Virtual Server and setting up a private network between the
host and GuestOS and enable Internet Connection Sharing in the Guest.
The Guest will have a full internet connection and the host or any other
system on the network will share the connection.

You can accomplish this with or without VPC.
