I Run a Win XP Pro and 98 SE Virtual 0S within XP Pro
I have a DOS based accounting program which runs only on DOS /95/ 98. the
same runs well in virtual os
the problem i have is that the accounting software created lots of data files.

i do not not how to retreive them back from the virtual os back to the
physical hard disk, since in the virtual os is stored as a single file

You should be able to transfer these file via networking or the "shared
folders" feature of Virtual PC.
