1. I have a USB keyboard and mouse, will this work in VPC?

and/or

2. You didn't mention that USB keyboards and mice work with VPC.

Technically, and USB device that is part of the emulated subset of VPC
hardware should work, like floppy, sound card, NIC, etc.

I have used VMWare's USB support for talking to USB to serial
and cellphones. It worked perfectly under a variety of guest
operating systems (ie Linux and Windows).

rephrasing an MS employee's previous answer on this subject). But,
they are aware the user's desire for USB ports.

Printers like someone already mentioned. Another one we test a lot is USB
wireless devices (Dell 1450). This makes it very convenient to test
different authentication methods for example. If there's a beta going on
somewhere, please let me know and I can test it out for you. Guest OS is
typically WinXP.

software on my notebook. I have experience that, the system crash just before
the demo, it make me mad about it. Virtual PC gives me a good solution.

In order to fight against illegal copying of our applications, especially in
the South East Asia counties, We have used hardware dongles, sure as,
Addladin. However, the virtual PC does not support USB dongles. It will be
great if I can use USB dongles with the virtual pc.

Do anyone know any work around method?
