Virtual PC as a testing server

We are just starting to use a VM as a testing server for web applications.
It is a 3 GHZ with 2 Gig of RAM. My virtual session is set with server 2003
and 1.3 gig of the RAM. We have noticed a real thorughput issue in that the
ASP pages run through DLLHOST.EXE and as the pages are called this process
uses 70% of the CPU and we can't really use this as a test environment. We
ran virus checker and do not have a virus and also now recognize this as an
issue on the develoment machine which is also a VM.

Has anyone seen this before? Are we stuck with waiting for VS 2005?

Do you have Additions installed? Have you set the performance option to
"Run at Maximum Speed"?

Also - VS 2005 is available now if you want to go and look at that.

There is also a newsgroup for it...

be warned, if you use the MS web newsgroup interface, its not showing
up there yet.
