Installing Windows XP. CD Key not valid?

I'm running Virtual PC 2004 on a Windows XP SP2 machine. I'm trying to setup
a new VM with the Windows XP source disk (sp-0). I've entered a few CD keys
(corporate license) that I know work for setting up a normal box, but when
using these same keys to setup the virtual machine, I get "The CD key you
entered is not valid".

Has anyone seen this, and can you point me in some direction for resolution?
