I can't find any information on what configurations
Microsoft supports on Virtual Server. I'm specifically
interested in the support of domain controllers. Is one
or multiple DCs supported within vm's? Also, is Virtual
Server supported running on a host domain controller?

Yes, exactly. Thank you! The client I'm working for
doesn't allow Outlook Express to run on their desktops and
they don't allow nntp traffic so I'm stuck with what I can
get off the web interface.

configurations.
So if you want to run a Server 2003 Domain Controller you can - however it
is up to you to decide if this is a configuration that meets al of your
requirements for availability, performance and resilience.
Is it not a case of how many DCs are supported within a VM - you can have as
many virtual machines as your servers memory and CPU will cope with and
given the requirements for each operating system running in a virtual
machine.

interface, you may wish to consider moving to a richer news reader client
